OVERVIEW
The Fullmer Legacy Center is a 16,500 SF boxing training and community facility in South Jordan, Utah. The Fullmer Legacy Foundation created the center to honor Gene, Don, and Jay Fullmer while empowering the next generation of boxers. The building brings together a full-size boxing ring and arena with mezzanine seating for events, extensive training zones with heavy bags, speed bags, and simulator stations, and an outdoor boxing ring and event terrace that extend programming into the surrounding sports park.
The Hall of Fame museum preserves the Fullmer brothers’ history through curated memorabilia, custom display walls, and archival graphics that immerse visitors in the story of the family’s world-championship legacy and contributions to Golden Gloves boxing. Warm lighting, exposed steel, brick, and durable finishes intentionally evoke an “old-school” boxing gym while still elevating the environment for tournaments, rentals, and community gatherings, reflecting Gramoll’s focus on craft, function, and long-term durability.
Supporting spaces including meeting rooms, exercise studios, educational support and study areas, boys’ and girls’ locker and shower rooms, and an on-site exam room reinforce the center’s mission to develop youth holistically, not just as athletes. Through collaborative fundraising, donated and discounted services, and precise construction, Gramoll delivered a safe, high-quality facility on a nonprofit budget, transforming a community vision into a permanent home for no-cost youth boxing, mentorship, and neighborhood events.
