OVERVIEW

The Uintah Basin Technical College New Welding Center is a 13,000-square-foot building located in Roosevelt. The new building houses the Welding Instructional Program, with administrative and classroom areas, a welding instructional area with 32 perimeter welding booths, a full steel fabrication area and shop with an overhead crane, and a locker room. The building is equipped with a full air filtration and heat recovery system to ensure a clean, smoke-free, energy-efficient environment. The classroom area is fully separated from the training and shop areas. Visual access from the lobby to classroom, support spaces, and into the welding shop allows students to understand the learning process and faculty to monitor students.
