OVERVIEW

The Burbidge Athletics Academic Center expansion project at the University of Utah added new facilities to support student-athlete learning and provide meeting space for counselors and coaches. Existing occupants remained undisturbed throughout construction. To accommodate the expansion, shoring of existing soils was required for basement excavation to ensure stability.

 

The new space includes dedicated areas for student-athletes, fostering an environment conducive to academic success and personal growth. Overall, the project demonstrates Gramoll Construction’s ability to manage complex projects while prioritizing occupant comfort.
