OVERVIEW

The University of Utah PM&R Clinic New Imaging Center project underscores Gramoll’s ability to execute highly complex healthcare remodels within one of the nation’s most acclaimed academic medical centers. Constructed amid ongoing university operations, the project required meticulous scheduling and rigorous controls for noise, vibration, and safety—industry standards for construction in active clinical environments. Gramoll transformed existing space into a state-of-the-art imaging suite featuring a new X-ray room, two advanced fluoroscopy rooms, intake and discharge areas, and five intake and injection rooms.

 

A critical milestone was relocating the clinic’s classroom within only six weeks to maintain the fast-track construction schedule, allowing imaging equipment installation to proceed without delay. Through disciplined project management, phased construction strategies, and close coordination with University of Utah Health staff, Gramoll delivered a cutting-edge diagnostic facility.
